My ancestors left Ireland and England, bringing to Aotearoa (New Zealand) a belief in their local traditions including the Other Crowd (the fae). My love for the land I was born on, six generations later, has shaped virtually every aspect of my life.
A twenty-year career in conservation and sustainability has evolved naturally into working energetically with people. The health of the natural world requires us to reconnect with our inner selves, and reawaken to the interconnectedness of all things, across all realms. When we heal, mother earth heals. When she heals, so do we.
Many cultures around the globe never forgot the sacred reciprocity between people, the earth and each other. I am lucky enough to live in the presence of such a culture.
I have been blessed to attend wānanga (traditional place of higher learning in Māori culture) learning a centuries-old form of bodywork. The wisdom has been passed down generation to generation, creating a deep body of esoteric knowledge based on universal principles, guided by tikanga (cultural protocols).

I will always be a student of this work, weaving together learnings from my own relationship with earth and spirit, traditions of my Celtic ancestral line and the indigenous knowledge systems of the land that I call home, which I have a deep respect and love for.
